How great is our God, sing with me,
How great is our God, and all will see,
After the summer break, at last, I was able to attend worship service again.
Adesawa, my new found Nigerian friend, saw me shifted emotions when the members at Chiesa San Lorenzo, Roma were preparing the Lord's table. She asked me if I miss my family, I said yes. I am not sad, I told her, I am actually happy. But more importantly, I miss having Sunday worship services with co-believers in Christ. That moment, I was so glad to be in the church.
Indeed, He is greater than all the famous cities and places I had been too. His creations speak of His glory. If there is a consolation of traveling solo in the uncomfortable morning and midnights in Europe, it would be seeing the sunrises, sunsets and moonsets - magnificent display of the skies.
Catching sunsets at Amsterdam (L) and bus trip from Vienna to Brno, Czech (R) |
Skies over Napoli at 23:00 and 6:30 |
And no matter what language people sing, if it comes from the heart, they are sweet aroma before the Lord.
